Renee Butler from Kensington Swan will speak to us about the essential employment matters to consider when providing immigration advice. She will cover the legal requirements employers must meet when drafting employment agreements, as well as INZ’s consequences for non-compliant employers. Her presentation will also explore issues that often crop up in relation to work visas, including the process to follow when an employer wishes to dismiss an employee on an employer-specific work visa, as well as an employer’s obligations when workers are no longer entitled to work (either because their visa has expired or because of the terms of their interim visa). There will be time for specific questions at the end of the presentation.
